    • LENA ELIZA TUCKEY
      Lena E. Tuckey, 79, of Cass City, died Friday, June 30, 2006 in Tendercare Nursing Facility, Cass City. She was born May 1, 1927 in Gagetown to Wallace and Eliza (Evans) Morse. She married Dean J. Tuckey March 2, 1945 in Cass City. He died July 4, 2001.
      Lena worked at Sommers Bakery for many years. She attended Sutton Sunshine United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and gardening. Lena loved spending time with her grandchildren.
      Lena is survived by her daughters: Susan M. Lynn of Sainte Genevieve, Missouri, Carole (Harmon) Dillard of Easley, South Carolina; grandchildren: Laura, Luke (Christina), Kana, BrieAnn, Zachary, Alexander; great grandchildren: Romelo, Markus; sisters: Margaret Lounsbury of Cass City, Ida May Wiles of Cass City, Ruth Cutler of Saginaw; many nieces and nephews.
      Funeral service held 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2006 in Cass City Missionary Church, with Pastor Robert Sweeney and James Halsey officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City. Memorials may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation.
