Loving father of Donald "D.J." (Ruth Escobedo) Montney and Tomiann Montney; grandfather of Lillianna, Tessa and Chance; brother of Bruce (Sherry), Henry (Debbie Wheeler), Pete (Wendy), and Margie Montney; also survived by the mother of his children Lynn Montney-Mason; and close friend Daryl; and many nieces and nephews.
Don was a graduate of Waterford Kettering '73. For many years he owned and operated Top Plate Carpentry and loved hunting and fishing. A Memorial Service will be Sunday, March 21, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Unity Church of Lake Orion, 3070 S. Baldwin Rd., Orion. Rev. Gregory Guice officiating. Memorials may be made to the family.
